Yoga Instructor

My yoga journey began through injury. After experiencing a sports-related hamstring and back injury, I turned to yoga as a way to heal. What started as recovery soon became a deep passion. Through āsana and prāṇāyāma, I not only restored my body but discovered a lifelong path of study, discipline, and self-awareness.

I have completed my 500-hour Teacher Training in Hatha, Vinyasa, and Ashtanga Yoga. I am also certified in Prenatal and Postnatal Yoga, as well as Sound Healing. My teaching weaves together traditional foundations with a deep understanding of body mechanics and functional movement.

My intention as a teacher is to bring awareness to how the body truly works especially the muscles and their interconnected systems, so that students can better understand themselves, prevent injury, and move toward healing. I believe that with the right awareness, the body has the intelligence to restore balance and release pain.

I maintain a disciplined daily practice, often returning to the same sequence each day. Repetition allows me to observe subtle changes, refine alignment, and cultivate steadiness and stillness within each posture. As the Yoga Sūtras remind us: “Sthira Sukham Āsanam” posture should be Still, steady and Comfortable. This principle guides both my personal practice and my teaching.

Yoga, for me, is not just movement — it is awareness, breath, devotion, and the continual study of self.
